In this virtual classroom, we will focus on developing the four fundamental skills of the English language: speaking, reading, writing and listening, using the simple present as the central axis. Through various interactive activities, students will have the opportunity to practice and master this verb tense effectively.
Speaking: Students will participate in conversation exercises where they will use the simple present to describe daily routines, express likes and preferences, and ask questions. Activities such as role-playing games and short debates will encourage interaction and oral fluency.
Reading: Short and entertaining texts will be provided that incorporate the simple present. Students will read dialogues, stories and descriptions, which will help them recognize the structure of the verb tense and understand its use in context. Comprehension questions will be included to reinforce learning.
Writing: Participants will do writing exercises where they will create sentences and paragraphs in the simple present. Students will be encouraged to write about their routines, interests and personal experiences, thus facilitating the practical application of the verb tense in their writing.
